Uhm. No. I will not take yes for an answer. Even if you make it a law that I have to say yes, I still will not say it.
Last time I checked, we the people are in charge of the government. The government is not in charge of us. We may have become apathetic to that over the years, but this bill gave our asses a huge fucking wake up call.
And you’re just going to have to take yes for an answer when we take this country back.
And Sarah Palin is a thousand trillion percent right when she called you a dingbat.

Sarah Palin, who I will forever love and adore and admire and look up to.

Romney had states rights on his side. States can decide for themselves.
Obamacare is a federal penalty-oh wait, I’m sorry, a “tax”-that will incur massive federal debt (as if we don’t have enough) and cause small business to cut jobs. And big corporations, like McDonald’s, won’t be giving out healthcare because it’s cheaper to pay the fine than it is to pay for employee healthcare benefits. Which means those people still won’t have employee healthcare and will have to find another way to get it. As well as those who get laid off from small business jobs.
And then there is the religious matter. Which speaks for itself.
Just because it works in ONE out of 57 states, or is it 50 states, doesn’t mean it will work on a federal government level. States are better at controlling public plans than a federal government. Federal plans are just too large to work. State’s deal with their own residents which is a much smaller constituency than the federal level. Plus, it doesn’t impose on other states that don’t want that kind of plan.
Edit: Don’t forget that less people will aspire to become doctors, waiting rooms will fill up with humungous lines, appointments will take forever to get, as will surgery.
Fucking Obama would cut my benefits. People who support him don’t see the stupid douche that he is.
Yes this does suck, but better than a guy who wants to suppress my rights as a woman. He may not be the best- but he is sure better than the other options. And who says that retired military veterans don’t do that either?
Retired military veterans get to sit on their ass if they want to do so because they put their lives on the line so you can bitch about men trying to take away your “rights as a woman.” Without them, we could easily live in a society where birth control and abortions are the least of your worries.
And slightly off topic, but this “rights as a woman” is bullshit. The constitution doesn’t say men have rights and women don’t or whatever. We have rights as human beings. They aren’t based on our gender.
Equal rights mean equality. They do not mean that women or gays or minorities have more rights than their counterparts. It means you get treated equally, good or bad.

All those families who could have been supported by XL pipeline jobs don’t have that opportunity anymore.
Get rid of Obama already.
Most of all Obama needs to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Second, I do not trust him as a president. I respect him as a human being and do not hate him. I disagree with the majority of his policies. The pipeline first of all would have been built with enormous environmental protection. Second, the pipeline would not only create jobs but decrease the cost of gasoline. The pipeline would have also decreased our dependency on foreign oil. I do believe that an alternative fuel source would be a good idea, but at this point, we do not have an economically efficient way to do this. With the situation in Iran, it is imperative that we decrease our dependency on Middle Eastern oil. Too many people want America out of other countries, however in order to do this all together, we must be more self sufficient. We cannot be self sufficient economically with so many regulations. This is one of the reasons the federal government needs to leave the private sector. No more bail outs. No more government health care that not only takes money from hardworking doctors and nurses, but also gives the federal government the power to make your health care decisions. Historically when the government has control over the economy and health care, health care and the economy decreases in quality. Just look at the Soviet Union. Also, look at countries in Europe and the debt crisis. The reason they are undergoing this crisis is because the government provides health care and a number of social services for the people. This sounds well and good. However, the government needs money to do this. This means higher taxes and worse quality. The government has to supply so many people that each person’s plan is generic and low quality. Part of our identity as Americans is the Constitution. We are a democratic republic and the people have the power. It is dangerous when one a group of people have a lot of power. Man is not basically good, just look at a two year old’s tendency to throw tantrums.
Americans, the problem in ‘drinking the koolaid,’ is that you don’t stop to question the presence of poison.
Don’t make assumptions. Ask Questions. Don’t just take what you hear and read for fact. Do you research. The media gives you facts transformed by ideology. Go to multiple sources. Read the Constitution and the rationale for it. Read about our fight for freedom and liberty. Know your history and what is going on in the world around you. Don’t just read one person’s opinion.
America, at 248 years old, is still a baby country. We cannot give up responsibility for freedom. You are responsible for the freedom of yourself, family, friends, and your children.
This is a really good response. Very very good points.
