How’d that work for ya Nancy?
Oh….and by the way, Brian Terry isn’t that hard of a name to say. Especially when you have papers of speech points in your hands.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck yesssssss.

Obviously in some cases, the government has ultimate power and that unless it’s defined as a jurisdiction of the federal government, the power goes to the states for them to legislate. That’s civics 101.
But this isn’t really working all that well. And by not working, I mean the feds (non)action on illegal immigration.
I feel that if the federal government is not upholding their duties that they themselves have put in place, then the states should be allowed to take over, especially if the issue impacts them directly while it’s not so concerning for those in big white neoclassical buildings who aren’t out there living in these border towns (and now spreading even farther and all over the entire country. I’m sure there’s even a couple of illegals in Alaska) facing the problems of illegal immigration every day.
Jan Brewer and the Arizona legislature weren’t doing this out of prejudice. Arizona has a serious problem with illegal immigration, human trafficking, and drug trafficking.
And what’s very significant, is that Brian Terry died in Arizona.
I think it’s at the point where, who care’s about these illegal immigrants? I don’t care if they want a better life and just need to get here by all means possible. I’m a fan of immigration, LEGAL immigration. I love the fact that I was born in a country that is a beacon of hope to people around the world. But I feel that if you respect this country enough to want to live here, you should have the respect to come here legally. If you love this country so much, why would you want the first thing you do here to be entering illegally? I just don’t understand that.
So I don’t care about these illegal immigrants intent. Just because our huge border is above some third world countries doesn’t mean that people can just waltz right in (I love saying “waltz right in”). Not only is it illegal and disrespectful to this nation, but it’s frankly unfair to every other person in this world that wants to immigrate but has to go through the proper channels because they don’t have a border right above them. I’m sure at least half of Darfur would love to come here, and probably some people in Greece and Spain, and even N. Korea also.
And then of course we have the job situation and the economy situation. This election is all about jobs jobs jobs (as it should be), but taking care of illegal immigration can take some burden off of our job market. Which the courts could have assisted with but SCOTUS turned down the part dealing with illegal immigrants acquiring jobs here.
I know this country was built on and by immigrants, but this isn’t 1650 anymore. We need to take care of this problem. I don’t know how it has become politically correct to not enforce illegal immigration laws and to believe that we should just let these people into our country and take our jobs and so on. For the past 150 years or so, immigrants have been required to go through an official immigration process. Their migration needed to be recorded (thank God for ancestry.com and ancestry.com thanks God for that) and many immigrants were turned back after spending their life savings to legally come here.
What’s happening now is just unacceptable.
And if the federal government won’t do their job, states like Arizona should have every right to deal with the issue themselves, because they’re the ones on the front lines. And people like Brian Terry are the ones literally on the front lines who are getting hurt and killed and trying their best. We can’t let these people get hurt and die in vain.
………………………………………………seriously?
There. is. nothing. related.
Brian Terry died. Because the DOJ decided it was a great idea to give guns to Mexican drug cartels.
How can anyone divert this issue away from a brave man who died and claim that this is really about voter I.D.’s?
What is wrong with her?
It’s no secret that I don’t like Holder, Obama, or Pelosi. But this is not about them. It’s about a brave man who died because of government stupidity.
Oh, and btw, even Democrats in Congress were ripping Holder apart.
People need to stop politicizing this and worry about the competency of the president and attorney general regardless of their political affiliation.
Honestly, even if this was Ronald Reagan, I’d still want diligent investigation and prosecution because I don’t want anyone in the government who thinks sending guns to Mexican criminals is a good idea.
No one died because of Watergate.
We all know how this is going to end. Obama is going to pardon someone who is directly responsible for the deaths of Americans.
Yyyyyyyep!
Everyone keeps comparing this to Watergate and it pisses me off.
Besides the obvious difference between them regarding the deaths of our border agents, Watergate and F&F are much different. Watergate was breaking and entering to steal campaign info and then denying it and then destroying evidential tapes and such. F&F deals with the government sending guns across the border and giving them to drug cartels. Watergate looks like a kid stealing a barbie from wal mart compared to F&F.
Now remember everyone, your computers are more important than Tamera Holder so don’t throw it against the wall because of the asinine and insensitive things she says.
Michelle Malkin and Tamara Holder just had a kick ass screaming match.
So I need to tune in more. Because I like drama and I need more intellectual drama and less housewife drama.
I bet I don’t watch though because of Hannity’s set. I really don’t like the visual quality of the camera and the set and how it appears on my TV. I’m very picky about stuff like that. Ok, I’m picky about a lot of things.
But seriously, Tamara Holder may be pretty, but she’s an idiot. She’s saying that we should give Holder more time to produce the documents and stuff because these things take years and that it’s unfair for the Republicans to be holding him in contempt so soon. She said “give him some years.”
But here’s the killer. While saying Holder should have more time to give up documents and that this is going to fast, she said (about Brian Terry) “the guy just died a year ago.”
………………………………………………….REALLY?
Her sensitivity towards the situation is overwhelming.
I’m not in New York. I’m not in Washington, D.C.
I am an average American 22 year old girl in a podunk town in North Carolina.
And I think this Fast and Furious ordeal is fascinating.
And I was waiting intently for this vote.
Just like I was fascinated with the Keystone pipeline.
We are the citizens and we deserve to know what is happening in our country and government. Especially when it deals with an issue in which a man died while trying to protect our borders.
I’m really tired of people in politics and news think that “the average American” doesn’t care about these things. We do care. And if they don’t care, they’re ignorant and stupid. Because these things do affect the average American. Maybe it will be years down the road, but eventually, the actions by this AG, presidential administration, and Congress will affect us. Not only the outcome, but the precedent it could set.
Also, it’s “I couldn’t care less.” By saying “Average Americans could care less,” you are pretty much contradicting yourselves by saying that average Americans do care.
I love you Bob, but my current pet peeve is the “I could care less….” crap. Although, the statement is true when someone uses it while talking about their crappy grammar.
did the ATF really have to name it that? it makes me think of vin diesel and cars everytime i hear about it on the news.
