A lot can happen in the 1-2 months leading up to the election. If you vote a month early, that’s it. One candidate can do something so shocking that it changes your vote completely but you can’t go back.
It kind of takes out a very important part of the election process.
My opinion is that everyone should vote on election day, in person, unless there is a medical problem limiting them or something else drastic, or if they are a serviceman/woman.
But don’t get me started on military voting. They can do a lot better job at getting those ballots out to troops abroad in enough time for them to get them, vote, and get them shipped back, and counted.
If only there was a way for them to vote on election day because you never know what could happen in foreign policy after the ballots get shipped back to America.
