Conservative Perspective
I'm Katie and I'm a 23 year old college student. I'm extremely conservative and I'd call myself a Common Sense Conservative. I support the Tea Party but most importantly, I support the Constitution and the American Dream. I believe America is the greatest nation on earth and it's time for a minimally intrusive government that shows that it too believes America is the best nation.

Q: Right, I wasn't implying women were being denied equal pay but I probably wasn't clear either! People who believe in this idea of "equal pay for equal work" always cite the fact that women make less than men but they don't realize those numbers are tallied over a lifetime. Since women tend to voluntarily pull themselves out of the workforce for extended periods of time, it makes sense they would make less over time. You're right though, it's complicated!

But then people go into the “ohh women feel forced by the patriarchal society to leave the workforce and become reproducing house fraus.”
Honestly, with some people, they will never be satisfied. That’s half of why it’s all so complicated.
