Conservative Perspective
I'm Katie and I'm a 23 year old college student. I'm extremely conservative and I'd call myself a Common Sense Conservative. I support the Tea Party but most importantly, I support the Constitution and the American Dream. I believe America is the greatest nation on earth and it's time for a minimally intrusive government that shows that it too believes America is the best nation.

Q: These pay differences are figured on lifetime earnings. Considering most women take time out to have/raise children, their earnings are less because of less time in the work force.
A:
Yes, childbirth and raising is a very good point. But that shouldn’t lower the averages because working mom’s can easily go back into the workforce and kick ass and get paid the same or more than a man. Nor should it affect the score of averages. More men are becoming stay at home dads and single dads work. While this does mean that women are often not in the workforce very long, it does not mean that those who are in the workforce are being denied equal pay.
It’s very very very tricky.
