Conservative Perspective

I'm Katie and I'm a 23 year old college student. I'm extremely conservative and I'd call myself a Common Sense Conservative. I support the Tea Party but most importantly, I support the Constitution and the American Dream. I believe America is the greatest nation on earth and it's time for a minimally intrusive government that shows that it too believes America is the best nation.

Q: Don't you think there are some situations that require the US to apologize? We're not infallible, and acting like we are is bad foreign policy.

A:
There is a fine line. I think we’re the best nation on earth but I don’t think we should act like the dicators of the world and walk all over everyone like we’re tyrants. We aren’t the British Empire. We got away from them. Why would we want to become them.

But we can’t just sit back and say “oh that’s happening. I hope we didn’t offend them. wah wah wah.”

It shouldn’t be one or the other.

I think we need to find that balance.

Because even though I love me some Bush 43, that was a situation where we were all “BAM in yo face” and now with Barry it’s like “I will bow down and repent.”

It should be more like “ok, if y’all wanna run your country like that, fine. But if you start going all Third Reich on us, we won’t wait till 1942 to raid y’alls ass.” I hope you catch my drift with that.

But balance is so ever hard to find.
