Q: Implying that all relationships that result in the woman becoming pregnant intimate, emotional, and loving. I would say that the minority of women who have abortions are in "intimate and loving" relationships. Also, I love how you just completely disregard those women who are impregnated through rape. "It's only 32,000 women a year! So WHAT?"
A:
I’m not disregarding them thank you very much. I’m saying that they obviously did not have that relationship and that their child will not have a father who wants them. All I’m saying is that in the realm of abortion statistics, rape victims only account for a very small percentage of abortions.
Like with all of my discussions of abortion, I focus on those who have not been raped. Because although I believe that no one should ever have an abortion, I will not argue that even rape victims should keep their baby. Whenever I talk about abortions, it’s those who have not been raped. Because they did not consent to intercourse I refuse to put them under the “you had sex, deal with the consequences.”
Maybe you should go and actually read my previous posts about abortion and you will see that I never disregard rape victims.
