Conservative Perspective

I'm Katie and I'm a 23 year old college student. I'm extremely conservative and I'd call myself a Common Sense Conservative. I support the Tea Party but most importantly, I support the Constitution and the American Dream. I believe America is the greatest nation on earth and it's time for a minimally intrusive government that shows that it too believes America is the best nation.

I used to feel that way all the time. But it's bad when a society becomes so far gone that it should be applauded when kids don't get drunk or high or pregnant. It means that us as a society needs to change how we raise our kids. But otherwise, sorry to be a buzzkill. This is funny:
- Me: Not pregnant
- Me: Honor student
- Me: Not on drugs
- Me: Never been in legal trouble
- Me: Hard worker
- Me: Not an alcoholic
- Parents: Cool
- Me: Forgets to put dishes in the dishwasher.
- Parents: OMG You never contribute to this family. You're crazy and out of control. You never do anything right. You need to take responsibility for your stuff and this house. Be perfect.
- Me: Oh okay.
