Conservative Perspective
I'm Katie and I'm a 23 year old college student. I'm extremely conservative and I'd call myself a Common Sense Conservative. I support the Tea Party but most importantly, I support the Constitution and the American Dream. I believe America is the greatest nation on earth and it's time for a minimally intrusive government that shows that it too believes America is the best nation.

Q: What can you say about this? isn't public education "socialism"? doesn't our country have many "socialist" ways of life... they don't all seem horrible - especially not public education.
A:
Public education sucks.
Just watch a John Stossel special.
Or go to a public school.
Or compare our education success compared to other countries’.
It’s just not working. Teachers aren’t being challenged and they don’t have accountability. And students are educated to their fullest potential and they aren’t getting a good skill set. We could have a much stronger workforce leading to more innovation and economic success if we change our education.
