She isn’t that rich. So it’s not that rich of a statement coming from her.

The problem is that they want to take the money from the rich to distribute to everyone else. Which is socialism.

They aren’t going to fix our economic situation because the taxes won’t be used for that since they’ll be used on welfare programs. Programs that wouldn’t be so “necessary” if the problem was fixed instead of worsening while the money is put into welfare which just creates more dependency and does not help the economic situation.

Also, the rich pay waaaaay more than their fair share. 53% of people don’t pay certain taxes, and of the people who do pay all their taxes, one millionaire pays more than 10 under $250,000 taxpayers combined (probably more than 10 combined).

And it still isn’t fixing anything.

You can take every single dollar from every single 1%er and the problem wouldn’t be fixed.

The goal needs to be less government spending. Not more taxes on anyone.

Also, it’s very easy for Mrs Obama to say that when her home and food and utilities, etc, are paid by the taxpayer. Like glorified welfare.
